About the tournament
The Euro Youth Basketball Cup is an international competition between youth teams from around the world, played in the coastal towns north of Barcelona and organised by European Sport Events. This edition is based at a new, modern basketball complex close to the beach.
It runs under FIBA and FEB rules and is considered one of the most prestigious international youth basketball competitions in Europe. The 2026 edition welcomed teams from 27 countries.
An optional Barça Academy Summer Camp, run with official Barça Academy coaches, follows the tournament from 21 to 25 June.

Blanes Sports Complex and the coast
Courts 1–6 are at the Blanes Sports Complex, which covers 2,400 square metres and has an arena for 3,500, six official-size courts, large changing rooms and a restaurant.
Matches may also be played in Palafolls, Santa Susanna and Malgrat de Mar. Shuttle buses leave the hotel an hour before each match.

Schedule
Four days, three of them on court.
- 17 JuneArrival at the hotel, team check-in and collection of tournament documents. Teams may arrive a few days early.
- 18–19 JuneGroup-stage games. The first round starts on Friday at 10:30.
- 20 JuneFinals, then the closing ceremony on Court 5 in Blanes, from 19:00 to 20:00.
- 21–23 JuneVisiting teams return home, departing from Barcelona or Girona international airport.
- 21–25 JuneThe optional Barça Academy Summer Camp, for players staying on after the tournament.

Accommodation
All teams stay on the same stretch of coast.
Full-board 3- and 4-star hotels in Blanes, Malgrat de Mar and Santa Susanna, with a pool, close to the beach, and quick access to the courts and the town centre. Every club stays on the same stretch of coast, which gives the tournament much of its atmosphere.
You choose the hotel category and room type when you register; the hotel itself is confirmed closer to the tournament.
Breakfast 07:45–09:30, lunch 13:00–14:30, dinner 19:30–21:30. Packed lunches can be arranged around the match schedule with notice at reception.
- BoardFull board — breakfast, lunch and dinner, all buffet. Packed lunches where the match schedule requires it.
- TransfersShuttle buses leave the hotel one hour before each match, with players and staff travelling first. Transfers to and from El Prat airport and local transport can be arranged on request, and may be shared with another team.
- AllergiesPlease tell hotel staff about any dietary requirements when you arrive.
- SupportTournament staff are on hand throughout your stay; special requests can go through them or the hotel.

Rules, terms and awards
- Four periods of ten minutes, under FIBA and FEB rules.
- A running clock applies if a team leads by more than 20 points, or if the game passes 80 minutes.
- Two time-outs per coach, one in each half. Half-time is one minute; warm-up on court is five minutes.
- Overtime is three minutes with a running clock, and no time-outs.
- Up to two over-age waivers in each category. The home team wears the light jersey, so bring both sets to every game.
